Finally some sense over the quarrel into Solah's probe murder:

Male’-(Scene-11- 17 April) - The Human Rights Commission yesterday visited Atholhuvehi (Police station allegedly where Solah was murdered), a detention center in Male, as part of investigations into the probe murder of 27-year-old Hussain Solah whose body was found adrift in the capital's harbor opposite of the said police station on Sunday with grievous injuries. However, HRC chairman Ahmed Saleem did not give details of the commission's visit nor its findings."We will publish our findings later as a report. We cannot reveal any information at this stage pending investigations," Saleem said. The chairman said that commission members talked to people who saw Solah's movements within Atholhuvehi (Police station allegedly where Solah was murdered). He said that the commission also sought information on police treatment of those detained at the Atholhuvehi (Police station allegedly where Solah was murdered)."We went into the cells and questioned detainees on their welfare," Saleem said. The commission said that it supported the government's decision to carry out a postmortem on Solah's body, a first in Maldives which does not presently have any laws or regulations regarding autopsies.Saleem said that the commission supports introduction of autopsies as recently there have been quite a number of unsolved cases of death."We will support all efforts to find out the truth behind these unsolved deaths," Saleem said.
Several persons detained for questioning at the Atholhuvehi (Police station allegedly where Solah was murdered) have been released following the visit of the commissioner.
