Confusion over preliminary results - Foreign Minister says no violence - Family say report must still be sealed and they have not seen the report yet

Colombo - (Scene-23- 21 April) - Maldives Foreign Minister has reported while travelling in Singapore airline flight SQ to Male’, that the preliminary results of Salah's post-mortem has ruled out violence and establishes death by drowning. However, family say that they themselves have not been informed and according to Sri Lankan authority, the report should have been opened in the presence of family and the Maldives police. "We are still waiting for them to open the report in our presence, as yet, we don't know the preliminary results," said a family member. He added further, "the family has always suspected that they tortured him till he was knocked unconscious and then dumped him in the sea. So, the cause of death may be 'drowning' but there will be other results from this autopsy
