Police claim to have information on home Solah slept after release

Male' - (Scene-19- 19 April) – Under intense public pressure Police claims that a household has informed police that the late Hussain Solah had slept there after his release from detention on April 13. Police also claimed that the residents of the home had handed over to police a medical prescription letter believed to be in Solah's possession. Police claimed that the prescription letter was given to Solah by the health center in Gaddhoo island in Gaafu Dhaalu atoll while he was been transferred to Male from Addu atoll for interrogation.
Meanwhile Solah’s family reports they are unaware of this new lead in the case. Police failed to reveal the identity of the person or household which reported this story. As per Police the identity can not be revealed for security reasons. Family claims this lead as “its just one more lie made by the authorities in this façade”. Ahmed Zahir uncle of Solah said “why not Police just arrest those Police personal who took the dead body of Solah to cemetery to bury with out identification rather than pretending as if there is no murder committed”.
